Former bantamweight contender Rafael Dias of Brazil (15-6) comes back to the Rage after the first draw in his career. At M-1 Challenge in China 100 Dias fought Vazha Tsiptauri for the first time and judges could not choose the winner. Last year the well-rounded athlete faced the undefeated champion Movsar Evloev, fought well, but it was not enough to capture the title.
Georgian national MMA and kickboxing champion Vazha Tsiptauri (6-1) is one of the most talented and successful prospects in the promotion. Tsiptauri is now riding a six-fight winning streak with a draw in his latest fight against Dias. Vazha is an extremely dangerous finisher and he could have fought for the flyweight title, but it is very difficult for him to make weight, so he moved up to bantamweight to start his way up to the top of the new division.
Bantamweights will meet in a rematch on July 20th!
