Middleweight title bout Bruno Silva vs. Mikhail Zayats will headline the show on June 7th in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
M-1 Challenge middleweight champion from Brazil Bruno Blindado Silva will come back to the Rage to fight the Russian MMA veteran Mikhail Zayats in the main event of the show MMA GRAND PRIX RUSSIA. The show is organized by Telesport Media and M-1 Global and will become a part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum program.
Brazilian Bruno Silva (19-6) is one of the most dominant middleweights in the world. Twice Blindado shocked the MMA community. First he finished the legendary Alexander Shlemenko in the opening round of his M-1 Global debut and after that in the next fight he TKO’d the champion Artem Frolov and captured the belt.
Mikhail Zayats (24-8) is a well-known and experienced middleweight veteran. Zayats is an all-around fighter, who started his MMA career in M-1 Global back in 2006 and since then has an impressive record 14-5 in the promotion. In the previous fight Mikhail defeated the former contender Caio Magalhaes and now he is ready to fight for the belt.
On June 7th Blindado will take on another dangerous Russian opponent in the main event of the night!
