I was born in Athens, Greece, but I grew up in a small town in the Greek West, Preveza. I started doing MMA at the age of 15, because my friends were beating me up. Not in a bad way, we were just messing around haha. Before I made the transition to MMA, I was playing tennis and I was actually pretty good at it, but I really fell in love with MMA and I decided that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I think that every sport is for women, including MMA. I don't think brutality has anything to do with it. It is just a part of the game! I am looking forward to fighting in Russia, and I can't wait to see all my fans there!
