FLW title fight vs Aleksander Doskalchuk. Mikael Silander headlines M-1 Challenge 99 Battle of Narts.

The undisputed M-1 Challenge flyweight champion of Ukraine Aleksander Doskalchuk (9-1) takes on the challenge from Finland's Mikael Silander (18-6) on November 17th. The Ukrainian joined M-1 Global as the MMA national champion and the European pankration champion. It took him two fights to capture the title and become the very first champion in the new division. After that Doskalchuk defended his title against the interim champion Arman Ashimov. Despite being an underdog in that fight Aleksander defeated his opponent by TKO and in the upcoming fight he will be the favorite for sure. Mikael Silander has already had one title shot in M-1 Global after winning his debut in the promotion. The well-rounded Finn tried to take his chances using his grappling advantage, but the interim champ Ashimov did not let him do that. Silander won one more fight after that and got his second title shot. Flyweights will headline the show on November 17th!
