Unfortunately, Sergey Goltsov got injured and we won’t see his rematch against Yuriy Fedorov on November 2nd, but another heavyweight prospect Oleg Popov takes the fight on a short notice.
Oleg Popov (3-1) in the national hand-to-hand combat champion and it is going to be his second fight in M-1 Global. Popov debuted in the promotion last summer with a great victory up in the mountains of Ingushetia.
Yuriy Fedorov demonstrated in his M-1 Global debut that he is a great puncher. Heavy-handed striker landed many nice shots, but a referee mistake did not let him finish the fight the way he wanted. Finally, that fight was scored as no contest and Fedorov was going to have a rematch, but his opponent got injured and Yuriy will face another tough rival.
