21 years old Ruslan Rakhmonkulov (11-1) is the Russian national hand-to-hand combat champion, European and two times world complex fighting champion and the MMA champion of a local promotion. Ruslan lost only his professional MMA debut and since then won all his fights. Now Gambit is riding an eleven-fights winning streak and after his successful debut in M-1 Global when he defeated the ex-champion of promotion, he moved up to welterweight to meet one of the toughest fighters in the division.
Ex-welterweight contender Maxim Grabovich (8-4) once already fought for the M-1 Challenge title, he put on a great performance, but could not win the belt. Maxim won both his last fights, two months ago got a unanimous decision victory against a brutal finisher from Finland Juho Valamaa and one more victory can help him receive another title shot!
