M-1 Challenge 96 co-main event: Daniel Swain vs. Viktor Kolesnik

Daniel Swain (18-8-1) is an all-around fighter from the USA. Swain can finish his opponents both standing and on the ground, 15 of his 18 wins he scored via either submission or knockout. Earlier this year Agent Orange headlined M-1 Challenge 91 in China and finished the local star in the opening round by the way of submission. Viktor Kolesnik (14-3-1) is one of the most talented Russian featherweight prospects. Half of the wins Kolesnik got by the way of submission and each time he steps into the Rage he puts on an excellent show. In one of his fights in M-1 Global Kolesnik got a knockout of the night bonus and after that he met the future champ Nate “the Train” Landwehr in one of the best fights of the year. Judges have not been on his side that night and Viktor lost via split decision. Since then he won one more fight and now he is aiming at a title shot and the rematch, but first he has to face another fighter from the States.
