When my knee got injured, I couldn’t even walk for a few days. I got the MRI back, confirming I tore my MCL, and It broke my heart. I knew I had to come back better than ever, so I went straight into rehab and then straight back to camp. I knew I would be the next champion and nothing could get in the way of that.
In my mind I am the champion already. M-1 Global deserves a champion like me, cause I don’t come just to win I come to destroy and put on a real show.
Fighting up in the mountains is no problem for me. I have the heart of a 1000 men and 100 lions, and cardio has never been a problem for me. I will keep pushing forward no matter what and I’m prepared to die from exhaustion to become a world champion, so I will never stop coming and I will never quit.
Fighting is not about how many times you get knocked down it’s about getting back up. If he knocks me down 100 times I will get back up 101. If he takes me down I will stand back up with everything I have. And when I drop people they don’t get up.
Khamzat Dalgiev seems to be a worthy rival. I will test his chin and heart with every second and every shot. I will pressure him so hard the air he will be breathing in will be the air I am breathing out. I will knock him out, or it will be the fight of the year. Or both. I will be the world champion. Hold on to that belt tight and close, while you still have it, Khamzat! I’m coming!
