Former Strikeforce and WEC champion Joe Riggs will fight 2-times combat sambo World Champion Dmitry Samoilov on July 22 Joe "Diesel" Riggs (43-17-1) is a former Strikeforce interim welterweight champion and former WEC middleweight champion of the World. He is a notable athlete with aggressive fighting style, who never backs down. It's a great honor for M-1 league to finally get Joe in our roster, where he will demonstrate the best of his diverge skillset and face a tough local outstand on July 22. Dmitry Samoilov (19-10-1) is a two-time Combat Sambo World champion and a very experienced MMA fighter out of Alexander Nevsky fight team. He is returning back to fighting after a two consecutive losses and is eager to prove his high level by defeating the renowned MMA star from USA.
